The Maffra office commenced in 1974 when Surveyor J.D. Mulcahy L.S. left the State Rivers and Water Commission survey office in Maffra to set up in private practice. He practiced mainly as a cadastral surveyor, but also had expert knowledge of the operation of the MacAlister Irrigation District. In 1994 Surveyor Mulcahy believed it was time to cease surveying and move to Queensland. Local development consultancy firm, Kluge Jackson Consultants Pty. Ltd., were the successful purchasers of his practice. In 2008 Beveridge Williams merged with Kluge Jackson Consultants to combine the reach of Victoria?s largest regional survey firm with a wealth of local development knowledge in the central Gippsland district.
